As project manager, editor, and/or materials coordinator, I worked with the internal team at Disney Theatrical Productions and managed our external partners – Music Theatre International, iTheatrics, and others – to make the following titles available for licensing.
Pilot Productions
As each title was in development, we piloted the shows in schools and regional theatres around the country to ensure their success. Maintaining relationships, consulting, and providing production support was integral to the department's mission.
Production Resources
Pilot productions informed the resources that we developed for all of our titles. For Broadway Junior® shows, this meant creating all of the content inside the ShowKit. For full-length titles, we worked with our Broadway creative teams to develop free production handbooks.
Marketing
Once the shows were released for licensing, we marketed them at events and conferences all around the county. Disney was a regular sponsor of the Junior Theater Festival and the International Thespian Festival, and we built interactive exhibits for attendees to engage with at the events.

And of course, there's nothing like getting to work for Disney on Broadway when it's time to open a new show. Our office staff was on hand for all of the magic and fun of developing new shows and sustaining the long-running favorites.
